چکیده
Soil salinity is a major environmental stress that adversely affects the growth, development, productivity, and quality of crop species, in particular, arid semi-arid regions. Identification chromosomal regions associated with agronomic traits under crucial for improving tolerance wheat. Genome-wide association study (GWAS) was employed to evaluate 289 elite lines Wheat Association Mapping Initiative (WAMI) population low (LS) high (HS) conditions using 15,737 SNP markers seven agronomical traits. The genotypes responded differently different environments all traits, highlighting genetic diversity within WAMI response salt stress, where heritability ranged from moderate (37%) (88%). GWAS identified 118 120 significant marker-trait associations (MTAs) LS HS conditions, respectively. Significant some more than one phenotypic trait observed, indicating possible pleiotropic or indirect effects. A degree linkage disequilibrium (> 52%) observed among SNPs on chromosomes, epistatic interaction. index (STI) exhibited positive correlation grain yield per plant (GYP) both (R2 = 0.851–0.856). Linear regression analysis between STI GYP indicated best predicting high-yielding genotypes. results present as valuable source potential Furthermore, our findings emphasize powerful tool promoting wheat breeding through accurate identification molecular significantly which essential marker-assisted breeding.

متن کاملComparison of Leaf Sheath Transcriptome Profiles with Physiological Traits of Bread Wheat Cultivars under Salinity Stress.
Salinity stress has significant negative effects on plant biomass production and crop yield. Salinity tolerance is controlled by complex systems of gene expression and ion transport. The relationship between specific features of mild salinity stress adaptation and gene expression was analyzed using four commercial varieties of bread wheat (Triticum aestivum) that have different levels of salini...

in this work, a novel and fast method for direct analysis of volatile compounds (davc) of medicinal plants has been developed by holding a filament from different parts of a plant in the gc injection port. the extraction and analysis of volatile components of a small amount of plant were carried out in one-step without any sample preparation. after optimization of temperature, extraction time a...
mapping genomic regions controlling physiological and morphological traits associated with seedling stage of bread wheat under normal and osmotic stress conditions
despite the importance of drought stress in early stage of growth and plant establishment, it has usually been neglected as selection criteria in breeding programs. therefore, a population of recombinant inbred line derived from the cross “babax/seri m82” and their two parents were studied. the experiment was conducted in two randomized complete block designs with two replications under osmotic...
